Finys policy management module shifts focus from policy to client allowing for client centric portfolio management. With inherent support for multiple lines of business, the module helps manage policies and customers alike, allowing for simple inquiries based on name and address details, and further drill-down capability for current and historic information.
The user interface (UI) is highly modifiable to support workflow and the workflow systems. The implementation of the underlying business rules as well as the data entry validation rules are easy to modify. With the ability to customize quickly and the built-in support for the new lines of business, the policy management module offers quick roll-out of new products.
Finys has embraced ACORD XML as the de-facto standard for communication. Finys supports third party applications using this standard for Quick Quote for single and combined policies.
The policy management module records history of the policy amendments, premium affecting or otherwise, allowing for out-of-sequence multiple amendments, re-rating, as well as re-issuance of policy documents.
In addition to standard reports, reporting is available on an ad-hoc basis. Highly customizable reporting engine generates reports to MS Excel documents or PDFs. The built-in e-mail transport facilitates electronic delivery of these documents.
Finys Insurance product suite is developed using .NET framework for the thin client web browser deployment, allowing for ease of hot fixes and upgrades. The Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) facilitates interoperability between modules.
